When Cradles to Crayons was created, Doreen & Peter Gill were determined to provide a center that offers an intensive academic program that prepares the children for their elementary years. Being very familiar with the juggle between family life and the corporate world, they have had to make difficult decisions for their children and understand the importance of a valuable program and a nurturing environment. As a privately owned center, they have be able to choose the strengths from a various curriculum programs and chose the guidelines from various accreditations to create a balanced program that is superior to others. The setting nurtures and encourages the children to achieve their absolute best while never forgetting to have fun along the way. Along with their parents, they watch the children develop into young people with bright futures.
